Liverpool Defender Jose Enrique Happy with Brendan Rodgers’ Attacking Instructions

Liverpool defender Jose Enrique is pleased with the way club manager Brendan Rodgers has deployed him this season, offering more opportunity for attacking surges from the Spaniard.

The 27-year-old left-back has been tasked with moving forward to help his side dictate play and increase their attacking potency.

"The boss wants the full-backs to try to be another attacking player. It’s good because it’s not just about defending and then attacking sometimes, he wants us to go all the time as another attacking player” , Enrique told Liverpool’s official site.

“It’s really good, I really enjoy this type of football" , he added.
