STEVEN GERRARD is set to return to full training with Liverpool on Monday after stepping up his recovery with a week of training in Abu Dhabi.
Gerrard has been sidelined since the end of October with an ankle infection, but is ready to hand Kenny Dalglish’s squad a pre-Christmas boost.
Liverpool travel to Wigan next Wednesday and if that comes too soon, the England midfielder could be involved against Blackburn on Boxing Day. (
