Charlie Adam felt that hard work was the key to Liverpool's 2-1 win at Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds continued their fine recent record at Stamford Bridge, with Glen Johnson`s goal winning it for them late on after Daniel Sturridge had cancelled out Maxi Rodriguez`s opener.
Scotland international Adam had a hand in both goals, and after the game he told Sky Sports 1: 'Hard work was the difference.
'We had good shape. We knew it would be difficult as Chelsea are a good team, but we have good players ourselves and it was a good way to bounce back from a difficult result against Swansea two weeks ago.
'We have to come to places like this and win. We did well to bounce back from the goal we conceded.'
Adam went on to dedicate the win to goalkeeper Brad Jones, whose son died on Saturday following a battle with illness.
