Gerrard can't wait to go back to defend The Reds

Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard, wishing she could return to defend The Reds against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Line on 18 September.

"I feel very good and I can kick the ball back again. Something positive for me. I'll be back practicing fully with the team on Thursday or Friday next week," said Gerrard.

"I can't play against Stoke City on Saturday. But I have a plan featured in the game against Tottenham. That's up to Kenny Dalglish's decision memainkanku or not when I get back," he added.

Gerrard has been absent from Liverpool troops since last March because of a groin injury infestation. The problem, in shape alone is not enough for Gerrard to immediately get the chance to appear regularly. Some new quarterback like Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson there have shown a significant contribution. Lucas is the more convincing performances also add to the high competition in the midfield farm team is Kenny Dalglish.
