Agger Out For Four Weeks After Suffering Fractured Ribs

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger, called the manager Kenny Dalglish sidelined for four weeks to undergo restoration of a broken rib injury, suffered against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday (18/09/2011).

In a match which was won by the Spurs 4-0, Agger only appeared for 27 minutes before being replaced by Sebastian Coates.

"Daniel has got a fractured rib, so he's struggling a bit," Dalglish told liverpoolfc.tv.

However, Agger's agent Per Steffensen has told a Danish sources that the elegant centre-back is already out of the fixture.

"It's the worst possible news. He has broken two ribs, and he must keep still for four weeks," Steffensen told sporten.tv2.dk.

He added on tipsbladet.dk: "Daniel is way down now and I certainly sympathise with him.

In addition to defending certainly miss Liverpool, Agger also can not defend the Danish national team for the match against Cyprus and Portugal.
