Jose Enrique is confident his team were able to achieve the target of four at the end of the next competition. For him this is a realistic target for Liverpool in the Premier League season 2011/2012.
Enrique became a surprise figure in the Liverpool team last weekend. Although newly docked to Anfield on 11 August, he was immediately installed as the starter in the inaugural match on 13 August when meet Sunderland.
Target was listed as the top four and qualifying for the Champions League is very realistic.
Liverpool this season will not be competing in the Champions League and Europa League, so just concentrate on the competition in the English Premier League.
"We want to get back into the top four this season and if we could win the Premier League that would be fantastic, but we have to be realistic," Enrique told
liverpoolfc.tv.
"A lot of teams have spent money and for me this league is the most competitive one in the world.
25-year-old player is optimistic about his team chances. For that he was eager to fight tooth and nail so that the target can be achieved.
"Seven teams could finish in the top four but we want to be there and we will do everything we can to make that possible."
