Raheem Sterling scores for Liverpool reserves in front of Fowler

Raheem Sterling struck for Liverpool in their 1-1 draw against Everton reserves.

Sterling fired an equaliser as Liverpool Reserves came from behind to claim a deserved point as they drew 1-1 with Everton in the mini-derby at the Kirkby Academy on Tuesday afternoon.

The Blues, under the command of Alan Stubbs, fielded a strong XI with Seamus Coleman and Magaye Gueye in their side.

They also fielded former captain David Weir, who is doing some coaching at Goodison Park.

Jon Flanagan and Jack Robinson both played the full 90 minutes as Rodolfo Borrell fielded a youthful side, in front of the watching Kenny Dalglish , Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and Robbie Fowler.
